Description of the Wrestler's Personality, Behavior, and Attitude:
Lucien embodies a stark duality created by the spirit of the Tao mingled with human blood -- two forces in opposition, but synergized into one. This internal conflict lives within Lucien as his two halves wrestle with each other for dominance. The Tao possesses him to rid the Earth of humans, while his human nature calls upon him to protect humankind from the Tao.
Instead of an equal division between humanity and the spirit of the Tao, humanity consumes a greater part of Lucien's soul, and has a greater influence on his personality. Lucien feels the tug of humanity, and the need to protect and nurture of humankind until they become a nondestructive force that would work and live in harmony with the Earth.
Still feeling the pull of the Tao, Lucien's compassion for humans helps him to suppress these destructive urges. He is a man of honor and integrity, whose adoptive father instilled in him the values of right and wrong, and an appreciation for the sanctity of human life.
A former student of biology at U.C. Davis, Lucien is cool-headed, strategic, patient and a reluctant hero. You could say he is the "yin" to Doomsday’s "yang".
